Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 25, 2026

By accessing or using the ReccoBeats API at https://api.reccobeats.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

  1. API Access, Commercial Use, and Fair Use

Authentication and Cost: ReccoBeats does not require an API access key or any authentication. The service is entirely free to use for both personal and commercial projects.

Base URL: All API requests must be directed to https://api.reccobeats.com.

Abuse: Because this is a free and unauthenticated service, you agree not to abuse, overload, or disrupt the API. We reserve the right to rate-limit, block, or terminate access to any IP address without notice if it generates excessive traffic or threatens service stability.

  2. Data Sources and Accuracy

Spotify Base Data: The core foundational metadata for tracks (including artist names, album names, track titles, and release dates) is aggregated from Spotify data. Users must be fully aware of this origin. You are responsible for ensuring that your application's use of this metadata complies with all applicable third-party terms.

Proprietary Analysis: The analytical metrics (including clustering, audio features extraction, and recommendation logic) are generated entirely by our custom, homemade service. This derived data is valid and original to ReccoBeats.

  3. No Warranty (Provided AS-IS)

The ReccoBeats API and all returned data are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Because this is a free tool, we explicitly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the API will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the returned data will be completely accurate or reliable.

  4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReccoBeats and its creators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the API. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, loss of data, service downtime, or any errors and omissions in the data provided. Your only remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the API.

  5. Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or shut down the API or any of its features at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice.
